Coda is my good boy. He has been part of our family for over 9 years now. He lacks in energy, but he is such a good dog. He has put up with 2 boys. Jabin used to hold on to Codas tail following him around the house saying "dog tail" And well Kade isn't too big on dogs, so I can't say Kade has been all that nice. Coda was so easy to train and doesn't ever do anything wrong.

Baby girl
Haley, my baby girl. This is Haley at 3 weeks. Her mommy was not a good mom, and was attacking the litter. So a lady took in the 4 defenseless little puppies and bottle fed them. We got a call from the lady right before Haley was 4 weeks old saying she was off the bottle and we could take her. She was so tiny, and I truly believe she thinks I am her mom.
She kinda looks like a bat in this picture.
Her nickname for the first several months was bear cub^^ She was a destructive little dog. But so lovable. She gives hugs. She likes to cuddle, and she really needs constant attention. Since she is part Border Collie part Australian Shepard, she likes to keep us "rounded up" She nips at our ankles, and she loves to chase Jabin. Kade and Haley tolerate each other. Kade doesn't love dogs, and he established dominance with Haley from day one.Posted by stephanie at 5:03 PM 0 comments
Showing off my boys
This is so cute of the 2 of them. Kade was just about 6 months old. Brian was out of town and I asked Jabin to hold Kade(who was sleeping) so I could get ready for bed. This is what I walked out to, both my boys sleeping. Too cute.
This was on the way home from camping, uh, you might notice the road in the background...Brian took that picture while DRIVING.
It's pretty hard to get a good picture out of Kade. He is either pulling a face or being silly. And well Jabin, he is too cool. He wore those glasses everywhere, till one fine day Kade ripped them off of Jabins face and threw them out the car window. Kade is such a sweet boy.
See, notice Kade is crossing his eyes...on purpose. And Jabin is hiding it well, but Kade is actually choking him.
They are such good boys. They keep me entertained, and can always bring a smile to my face. Although Kade is a brat, and has a mouth on him worse than a sailor, he also says the sweetest things. He calls me "pretty mommy". How can I not just love that. And Jabin has a big heart. Always being such a good kid. I am lucky to have 2 wonderful boys:)Posted by stephanie at 4:24 PM 0 comments

Brian may kill me
Brian and his car(not really, it was a rental but still). This was on Highway One, last year. I wanted to show a picture Brian wouldn't mind sharing before I get to later pictures. :)

Jordyn
I think everyone has heard me talk about Jordyn at one time or another. She is the cutest little girl I have ever known. Not just her cute little face, but her personality. I love they way she says my name, and how excited she is when we see her.

Uinta camping '09
Only a few days after Brian and the kids went to Stanley, Idaho we all went camping to the Uinta mountains. And we all means 9 people, 7 dogs.?? I have always loved the Uintas, I feel like I grew up there. Its usually 15 degrees cooler than the valley we live in and the majority of trees that make up the forest are the Quaking Aspen(my favorite).
Is that not the sweetest picture of Jabin taking his little brother for a walk? Well truth be told Kade was screaming "I want to go for a walk" everyone was trying to either cook breakfast or clean up camp, so we sorta forced Jabin to go. But its still a precious picture.
This picture of Thomas has a somewhat long but hilarious story behind it. We had taken up the kids 4 wheelers(yes Jabin and Kades 4 wheelers-can we say spoiled) and Thomas had taken out Jabins 4 wheeler and Jabin was on Kades. Well leave it to the sheriff of...the Uintas...I guess, to notice these 2 boys. Along with the warning we got for Jabin not have taken his 4 wheeling class, Thomas got a ticket for not wearing his helmet. So Thomas decided that to be safe for the rest of the trip he would wear a helmet...no matter what he was doing. In this picture, he was simply taking a walk.
This is Haley, my dog. She is rolling in cow shit. In her defence I can only hope she knows something we don't about rolling in poo. Posted by stephanie at 3:24 PM 0 comments
