Cutest boys ever!!!

Kade was less than thrilled with M&M guy.

Jabin is too cool. No really he is too cool. He didn't even care that we told him wearing his glasses like that was not cool, he did it anyway.

Kades face is too funny. He never can just smile. I love it.

So so so so cute!!

Drivin' in the car with the 2 cutest boys:)

Playin' Rock Band. I love Kades expression. And Jabin is taking it very serious(as usual).

I am so lucky to be a mom of these amazing boys! They make me laugh, smile, crazy, surprised, curious, fasinated, happy, and so many other emotions everyday. I watch them in amazement, growing, learning, being little people. Being a mom is the best part of my life, and wish it wasn't going by so fast.

Vegas Baby!!

I played with the interactive monitor at Cesar's Palace for a long time...I have the maturity of a child, so the sign "touch me" was amusing to me.

Kids got to meet their grama Bev. The last time we saw her was 11 years ago. It was a very nice lunch, and hopefully we will see more of her. Look at Kades face..^^^.
Kade became an expert at Skee ball(just like his mom)

A Statue of Liberty made of candy.

Well there are no words.....too cute

I can't go to Vegas without seeing the tigers.

Circus Circus...I never EVER need to go there again.

We stayed at the New York New York for Jabin, since he wants to go to the real New York.

Serendipity

I thought I would have to go to New York to get the opportunity to go to Serendipity....but no...there is one in Las Vegas!! :)

That is the most amazing dessert...frozen hot chocolate.

I want to work there, I want to be there...so good.

Well besides Kade being cute in his soccer uniform, he is actually pretty good. He scored 2 of the teams 4 goals.

Here he is saying "go green goblins"

And he takes soccer very serious

Just a quick pose for mom

It is a little bit of organized chaos, but its very cute to see a bunch of 4 year olds playing:)

The story continues...

So if you haven't read the first part of the story...scroll down and read Where to begin??

Now its March 4Th(Thursday):

The vet stitches Haley up, and puts drainage tubes at the site of the wound(it looked like 2 plastic straws dangling out of her skin...gross). And of course a cone. Poor girl :( I wont bore you with the details of the bill, but it was not pretty.

At this time the vet is not overly concerned with the fact that Nelson is not interested in food or drinking. The vet says to watch Nelson, and if by Saturday he hasn't improved we will need to do blood work and a x-ray(money, money, money).

Brian gets home from the vet, just in time to take Kade to school and me to go off to surgery(another post to soon come...and I have pictures)

I had dog on the brain so I wasn't as nervous about my surgery, which helped. But returning from surgery and not sleeping one second again(for the second night) I had Brian take Nelson in Friday morning. This is where the story gets irritating. Blood work....fine. X-ray...fine. What the hell Nelson??? So they examine him closer and find that he seems to be in pain in his abdomen. So he must have a bacteria, and a gas bubble. There is no real way to know how he got the bacteria, maybe outside, maybe from food. So after all the tests, the vet puts him on a antibiotic.

Saturday morning Nelson wakes up, and is fine. No joke. We call the vet, the vet says "yea!" Nelson responded to the antibiotics, so it was something bacteria related...go on about your day. Oh, but see you tomorrow to remove the gross tubes hanging from inside Haley.

So Nelson is all back to normal. Haley still has stitches....but the tubes are gone. I am still amazed at the amount of money we spent on the 2 of them, its disgusting. And my days are spent training Nelson to stay away from Haley and training Haley to stop picking fights...(she does).

And that's the end of the dog story....stay tuned for the surgery pics:)

Where to begin??

Wednesday March 3rd: Suckiest day ever.

It began like all days...me trying to get up out of bed. I opened my bedroom door, and the dogs(plural) had pooped and peed all over the place. What a wonderful way to wake up. In the middle of cleaning up the pee, Nelson starts puking. He pukes up a ball. Like the size of a tennis ball, and fully intact. Wonderful, something else to clean up. I walk downstairs, and there lies Haley puke. How do I know it was Haley puke you ask?? Well...Haley pukes often, and its usually just bile. And for those dog owners out there you know, dog bile is NOT easy to get up out of carpet.
So on with my day. Get Kade ready, take him to school. Nelson comes with me in the car(as always) and he pukes again. Nelson is a special dog...meaning...he cleans up his own puke. Well, not this time. And then he pukes again. It was a very lovely smell. For those of you that don't know, I drive 2 hours each day to take my kids to school, so the smell of puke for an hour is a bit much. At this point I am ready to sell the dogs. But I deal. Come home, clean up the car, and get in the shower. While blow drying my hair the dogs break out in a fight. A bad fight. They are not listening to me to stop, I'm scared to get in the middle of it. It ended with Nelson bleeding. Haley had bit his foot. Great. So now I get to clean up blood. Nelson was acting really weird. He wouldn't do anything. I was worried, but I needed to get to work, so in the kennel Nelson goes.
Well, Nelson wouldn't eat dinner that night, or drink water. Very unlike him. I had a thought run through my mind that I had gotten Kades flintstone vitamin for him, and usually that is waiting on the table for him. So I go into a panic that Nelson got ahold of the flintstone vitamin, and that is why he is acting like a weirdo. I do some research online....not so good for a dog to have vitamins. So we call animal poison control...you can get an answer if the "thing" they have taken is bad for them for 65 dollars. Ripoff. So in the middle of the night Brian takes Nelson to the ER vet. 150 dollars later...go to your vet in the morning and get some blood work done, here are some anti nausea meds. Ripoff.
I did not sleep even a little(oh, and I'm scheduled for surgery the next day). We wake up to find blood all over the comforter....not from Nelson. Haley has a huge hole on her chest. We (mostly me) being so worried about Nelson and his strange behavior didn't even check Haley over after the fight. So its 8 in the morning(day of my surgery) and Brian is off to the vet, with both dogs. Story to be continued........................

Nelson thinks he's human

Brian and I came up stairs, and found Nelson in our bed just like this. Laying with the covers on him, sleeping.

It was pretty cute. I wanted to show these pictures before my next post in which Nelson is NOT so cute.

Seriously

Ok. The thyroid thing is a pain in the butt, but I manage. Blood work every 6 weeks, doctor visits. Being tired and just run down, all this I can manage. Then I had to add female crap to the mix. I had an internal ultrasound(don't recommend those) and it showed something on, and/or in my ovary. Now don't forget I had a partial hysterectomy. So the doc wants to do laporscopic surgery to "explore" and "remove" problems. Ok, I can handle that. Then I wake up Monday morning, bend down to pick up a towel...a towel I said....and my back spasms and sends me to the ground in excruciating pain. I layed on the floor crying(do you feel sorry for me yet) and tried to stand back up. I waited a day, in pain, to see if a nights sleep would help. Uhhhh, no. No sleep, no such luck with less pain. So I found myself at the chiropractor, where I have learned I have a bulging disc, and a few bone spurs. AAAAHHHHH!!! Ok, now I can't handle this. Enough already body.

Happy Birthday Jabin:)

I'm not sure how Jabin is now 11, seeing how I am only 22. Jabin is an amazing kid. I truly wonder how 11 years has gone by so fast. In many ways I feel I have grown up with Jabin. As he is entering into his pre-teens, I can only hope he remains my little friend.
